Here at Testology, we live for games, not only do we spend 8 hours a day testing games, apps and websites, but we want to spend a full 24 hours of our day playing them too! Last year we took part in Special Effect’s GameBlast event, and this year we’re aiming to blow last year’s fantastic efforts out of the water!

GameBlast is a gaming marathon event organised by Special Effect that is taking part between February 24th-26th. Rather than have a big team that will play swap playing games over the full 24 hours we aim to have as many of our friendly employees playing games for as long as they possibly can over the weekend, with at least one or two streams going, including our main Testology twitch account:

Although at Testology we aim to find as many bugs as possible, we promise we will not find bugs in the games we will be playing! Feel free to sponsor us at: we won’t simply be playing computer games, we also have a large party of pen-and-paper roleplayers carrying out 24 hours of roleplaying!

Special Effect put fun and inclusion back into the lives of people with physical disabilities by helping them to play video games.

By using technology ranging from modified joypads to eye-control, they’re finding a way for people to play to the very best of their abilities.

But they’re not just doing it for fun. By levelling the playing field, Special Effect are bringing families and friends together and having a profoundly positive impact on therapy, confidence and rehabilitation.
